Note: I wrote this when i was still in my sj fandom lol~! I posted this fic over at miracle but i have no idea how to link my lj to the miracle comm so i pasted it here. I wrote this way back in 3rd July 2008.

It was summer and 8 years old Heechul was on a vacation with his family to a trip to China. Heechul has heard a lot of stories from his Halmoni about the fire-breathing dragon, Great Wall of China, cute snugly panda and also colourful costume which Heechul has been looking forward to ever since Heejin noona showed him a picture of her classmate wearing a really pretty cheongsam.

And their first stop was to a restaurant. Heechul was feeling rather bored cause he had already eaten and there were no children around there. His parents had warned him and Heejin not to wonder around because it’s dangerous but being Heechul, nothing can stop him even his parents’ threats held no effect.

He slowly slip out of his chair quietly and went to venture out of the restaurant alone. His eyes scan everywhere looking for something that might attract him, and there it was. A shop selling colourful costumes just like in the picture Heejin noona showed. Heechul smirked and skip along the way.

“Wow. So many colourful clothes” Heechul couldn’t keep himself from admiring the place. Heejin noona will surely like all the clothing here. Heechul quietly took one of the Chinese robes and drape it around himself. He feel like a king!. He began to try another robe but in silk and strut down the hallway.

“Aiyo! xiao mei hen ke ai leh!” one of the stall owner suddenly said out loud. Heechul immediately look up, face scrunch having no idea what she just babbling about. He thought the owner was mad at him for using the robes. He quickly took it off and was about to dash out of the stall when the something caught his eyes.

A really really really pretty red top cheongsam adorn with golden phoenix was drape on one of the mannequin doll. Heechul immediately look back and forth to the owner and back to the cheongsam. He really really wanted it. Somehow without any words exchange the owner went to the back of the room and came back with a fitted top just for him. His face lit up instantly, grinning from ear to ear.

Heechul immediately put it on and went to the big mirror. He looks simply smashing. “Omma and Heejin noona will love it!” Heechul said loudly.

“Eh you Korean?” the owner asked in her broken Hangeul. Heechul nodded.

“Yah! You so pretty. Ahjumma gives you the clothes. Free, no pay okay!” the owner feeling rather proud with her Hangeul. All Heechul did was nodded cause it was rather hard to understand with her accent.

And so he left the shop sulking on a lollipop after giving the ahjumma a kiss on the cheek. All the other shop sells some weird stuff which Heechul finds really scary so he headed back to the restaurant. Just as he was about to enter there were a group of children around his age playing on the street. From the look, it seems they’re playing “three blind mice” where a person was blindfolded and has to catch someone and guess its name.

Grinning, Heechul walked up to them and watched in fascination as they giggled running around and constantly poking the seeker. What Heechul didn’t expect was he’s being grip into the tight embraced of the seeker. All the children were giggling even harder.

“GOT YOU!!....” the seeker shouted excitedly, “now all I have to do is guess your identity” and he began to run his hands down little by little from Heechul’s hair to his face, feeling every part of it and continue to go down to his body. Even though he was blindfolded his face was scrunch up in total concentration. All the children were watching in excitement while Heechul was stood rooted to the spot.

After a while the seeker spoke.

“I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!” he grins.

“YOU ARE LI YIN” and immediately he opens his blindfold only to jump back a little. “Hangeng gege, that’s not me, you got the wrong person!!” a pretty girl with the same hair length as Heechul giggles. He immediately look at Heechul eyes wide, “then who is he?” he points.

“Nevermind about that, the thing is you got it wrong and you need to do punishment with him!.”

“Mimi ah....it’s unfair!. He’s not even in our group!” Hangeng whines.

“Fair or not, you still lose and we need to stick by the rules right guys?!” Mimi immediately garnered lots of nod and Hangeng has no choice but to obey. Heechul had absolutely no idea what was installed for him. All he did was watched with interest, trying to fit in.

“So what is my punishment?” Hangeng sigh in defeat. With a mischievous glint in his eyes Mimi walks up to him and whisper into his ear making him sputtered out, “WHAT?!.”

“NO WAY!” he shouted.

“Yes way and you can’t back out of it.”

“Buut he-hees-he’s a...”

“Do it now or I’ll tell Li Yin what you’ve done to her favourite doll” Mimi threaten dangerously.

‘OKAY FINE!. I’LL DO IT” Hangeng pout.

He walks up to Heechul, face with seriousness which somehow makes Heechul panic and back away from him until he hit a wall. Heechul was sure the boy “HANGENG” was gonna beat him up just like the school bully so he immediately ran off down the alley and into restaurant. He zig-zag his way from the crowded table and somehow ended hiding in a secluded corner of the restaurant with a huge plant blocking in front of him.

He prays to whatever god that the boy won’t find him. When Heechul glance to the side, his parents and noona stop eating and gave him a weird look. “Heechul are you okay?” Omma said. “Yes omma!....just go back to eating okay!...oh and if you saw a boy called Hangeng don’t tell him i-“

“THERE YOU ARE!”

“Aww man!” Heechul mentally sigh. Hangeng was quick to find him!. “Now you have to go outside with me and do the punishment!” he pulled Heechul hand and quickly dashed out of the restaurant with Heechul groaning inwardly.

The children were moving around some squatting while some preoccupied themselves with games. Mimi was tapping his feet against the wall he was leaning clearly look bored. “Took you a long time to find him.”

“Hey he’s fast runner!. Luckily he hid in my mother’s restaurant so it’s easy to spot him” Hangeng grins.

“Yeah yeah yeah just do the punishment so we can continue on the game.”

Hangeng immediately grips on Heechul’s shoulder hard look at him intently. Heechul knows there is no way he can escape now so he shut his eyes tight braving for the pain.

But it never came.

He felt soft lips against his cheek and he open up his eyes immediately, too shocked to say anything. Then Hangeng retracted and look at him smilingly. Heechul touch the spot and it was wet. He looked at the other children who was giggling loudly and smirking.

“There, I’ve done it, so now we can continue on with the game.”

And immediately the children went to back to their usual game and pretend that they didn’t saw the kiss, as it if never happen. Oh Heechul got mad. No one dares to kiss him except for Halmoni and Heechul hated that no one stop Hangeng. Poor Heechul, if only he understood the game.

So he marched up to Hangeng in strides. Kids stop playing and watch as Heechul walks up to him who was busy playing with Liyin. Oh, there was so much fired in his eyes that he can burn down the city. ”Boy oh boy, this is going to be a fun day” Mimi said quietly to himself.

Heechul tap Hangeng shoulder from the back and when he turns around, Hangeng inwardly shivered from the stare and the smirk. Looking at him, Heechul raised his hand and gave a hard slap across his cheek. The sound carried all the way down the street, children just gasped eyes wide clearly shocked, especially Hangeng.

Heechul then shouted at him in Hangeul before pulling his tongue out at him. “Heechul there you are!. Come on we’re going off now” Appa said. “Coming appa!” but before Heechul left he went towards Hangeng who immediately scooted back afraid, making Heechul laughed and he walk off to join his family leaving a dumbfounded Hangeng.

“That boy is crazy!. I hope I’ll never ever meet him again!” Hangeng cringe, hand rubbing gently on his cheek.

Little did he know that he’ll be meeting the boy again 11 years later and would be in the same group as him.

I know most of you must be wondering why I've been going on hiatus and what I've been up to lately. Actually the truth is, I'm just tired. Tired of everything. There will just come a point in time where you'll just reflect upon life and pondering what you've done so far in life.

And also fandom has been keeping me down for a while. At that time I couldn't get any sastifactory from my fandom anymore that it almost pains me to even watch or read their comments or pics. I just felt very dead. I was hating the person i was becoming into. So i have to leave for a while. Just focus on my life and forget everything. I'm thankful that my wonderful "family" understood my feelings although i never tell them that i was gonna leave.

It was a good long hiatus too. I felt refresh and completely at peace in mind. It's a feeling that i just couldn't explain. It just felt so good. But I know I have to return sooner or later though. So after a while i decided that should revamp my journal and give it a new look, thanks oppa for helping me out i don't know what i do without my twin. And then I slowly began to clean up my msn f-list and also my lj f-list.

It's not that i hate you peeps but the reason why I'm cleaning it up is because what's the use of friending peeps and yet you never even visited or drop by their lj or chat on msn?. I'm not implying others but i'm saying about myself and I really really hated myself sometimes for being that way.

I'm trying to improve myself as a human being and yet I'm also hating at the lack of determination.

Anyway......let's get on a brighter side of a note!

Hi peeps~!

I know lately I haven't updated my LJ and I've been feeling really REALLY guilty about it. Anyway I just want to let you guys know that I'll be going on an official hiatus starting from today and I don't even know when I'll be back.

Title: Let me keep you in my heart

Summary: If love brings suffering.....then I don’t want to be in love anymore.

A/N: I do not own them. Oh how I wish I can make a clone of them so I don’t have to be Kihae-deprived all day. Not betad at all.

I think it sucks a lot so forgive me if you find it too cliché!!. Oh and on a side note, I was deeply inspired to write this plot out when I was listening to Kim Bum Soo song.

From Kibum's pov.
It was snowing that day.......

And also the day where two hearts would be broken forever.

Snowflakes were falling from the sky floating ever so gracefully to the ground. Trees were covered in thick snows and street lights dim complimenting the view making it look effortless.

The lake was already frozen shimmering under the moonlight. I smiled as I recalled the first time we met at the very same lake so much laughter there was. I twirled the ring on my finger, remembering our vows that we’ll never be apart.

I glance at my watch, five more minutes to 10pm and as usual Donghae was late again.

A small bouquet of roses lay in my right hand and my cellphone on the other, occasionally flipping it open and shut but in the end I decided to pocket it back into my coat. It’s been months since I last saw him. Both of us have been extremely busy with our own lives and now that he’s back from Japan it feels as if I’m meeting him after a decade.

“Bummie!” he yells, beaming at me but there wasn’t the usual spark in his eyes. Something felt odd but I ignore it as soon as he was within my embrace, “I miss you”.

“I miss you too” and he gave a soft peck on my lips. I handed him the bouquet and he immediately laughed, “You’re spoiling me with all this stuff, I told you not to waste money on it.”

“Well it’s not every day I get the chance to spoil my boyfriend.”

He lifted the bouquet to his nose shutting his eyes as he inhaled the sweet scent. He looks absolutely breathtaking. I didn’t dare to blink afraid of losing to capture the moment. He slowly peel open his eyes, gaze lingering at me.

He drags me to one of the benches and immediately snuggled closed to me. I stroke his back lovingly and inhaled the soapy scent from his hair. I miss his scent and the touches.

“Bummie, how much do you love me?” he suddenly asked.

“I would give up my entire world for you.”

“How much do you love me?”

“I love you like there’s no tomorrow and no yesterday.”

“Since when you’re all cheesy Donghae?” I grin and pinch his cheek.

“That hurts!” he smacked my hand away and playfully pushes me.

And the next series of events would drastically change my life forever.
One moment he was giggling heartily and next he had this blank expression on his face. “What’s wrong Hae?” I asked but he didn’t seem to take notice of it so I repeated my question again.

“Are you okay?” I shook his shoulder gently.

“Bummie....I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.”

“Donghae what’s going on??” panic starts to rise through my chest.

“Forgive me will you?”

He pulls out a white envelope wrap in a dark blue ribbon from his back pocket.

I took it hoping that it wasn’t what I thought it would be. As I pulled the ribbon, I felt immense pain in my heart. I held my breath as I drew out a card.

“Marriage invitation?”

He nodded avoiding my eyes. I scanned through the card and saw his name and unfortunately my name wasn’t engraved in it.

My mind went numb.

I could hear my heart shattering into thousands of pieces. I wish I can wake up from this nightmare.

“Why?”

He slowly lifted his gazed from the ground wiping his eyes, “I’ve been fix into an arrange marriage.”

“You could always reject the offer” I retorted.

“I can’t. You should have seen the look on my dad’s face. He was so happy that I couldn’t break his heart” he reason out.

“What about me. Aren’t you breaking my heart?!”

“Kibummie.....try to understand. My dad is the only person I’ve got now and he’s dying. It’s his last wish to see me get married. You know I would never hurt you......”

“well now you have done enough damages to it” I huffed out.

“I’m sorry....” but the words no longer held any meaning to me anymore.

“So you’re gonna marry this woman who you don’t even love and makes lots of babies and live happily ever after?”

“Knowing that if you could bring a smile on his face would you do it in a heartbeat? I’ll blame myself and live in regrets forever if the last thing I did was upsetting him before he died.”

“You’re willing to sacrifice your own happiness for his then?”

“Yes....even if it deeply pains me. My dad means everything to me”.
Snowflakes were falling quite heavy now.
We sat there in silence, both trying to absorb and face the harsh reality.

“This is goodbye then?” I chewed my bottom lips as my emotion threatens to take over me again.

“I’ll never forget all the love and memories we had. You’ll never be erased from my heart, not now and not in the future......you will always be in here” he drags my hand and places it over his beating heart.

He then embraced me tightly.

We stayed in that position for quite some time before he released me.

“I should be going Bummie. My driver is waiting for me” he put on his usual smile and dusts off snows from my hair.

He was prepared to leave when I grab hold his wrist, “Don’t leave me...” I begged.

“You know I wouldn’t but I-...come to my wedding will you?” he cupped my face and brushes my cheek. I gave him a half-hearted smile as I couldn’t reply him.

Soft lips were moving against mine and I pressed his neck deepening the kiss desperate for more contact, remembering his taste. I wish time would stop right then but luck has never been on my side.

“I’ve to go now......saranghae Kibummie.”

As he pulled away, I cried harder knowing that I’ll lose him forever to a stranger. I grasp his hand tightly as I wasn’t ready to let him go but it keep on slipping and slipping till he was out of my reached.

He didn’t once look back till he was out from my view.

And with that he left leaving me all alone in my own world.

First Meeting.

Their first meeting occurs at 11 yrs old. Lee Sungmin, the new kid in class, was taken to immediate liking from everyone including the teachers. He had this aura that attracted people. Simply put, Lee Sungmin was the popular boy with cuteness to kill people off while Kim Ryeowook was a nobody.

Kim Ryeowook was a very shy, timid boy who has trouble making friends. He was not popular and was often teased by his classmates because of his gentle nature. He tends to be mistaken as girl cause of his long hair and cries a lot. Which was why nobody wanted to be friends with him.

One day Ryeowook sat on the swing all alone while waiting for his appa to fetch him. Out of boredom, he sang a song to kill time. Ryeowook love singing cause it makes him feels at peace. Unbeknownst to him, his voice attracted a certain person.

“Wow! That’s a really, really beautiful song. How did you learn to sing like that?!” came an unknown voice. Ryeowook turned and was shocked to see Donghae.

Meet Lee Donghae everyone. Lee Donghae and Lee Sungmin are cousins. He’s from Class 4B and the class resident of weirdness. He said he saw an alien at the school garden pond playing with the fish one day and nobody believed him, calling him a liar. Ever since that incident, he kept wearing a foil hat in class. After school he would say that the aliens would take people away if they didn’t’t use it.

“Omma taught me.” Ryeowook replied shyly.

“Well can you teach me to sing the song?!” Donghae eyes widened with excitement.

“Em....” Ryeowook replied hesitantly.

“I mean not today but some other day!“ Donghae chuckled and patted Ryeowook’s back.

“Oka-”

“Who are you waiting for? I’m actually playing hide and seek with my cousin and friends but got lost and couldn’t’t find them so I gave up searching until I heard your singing, and well, here I am. You don’t have to panic or anything cause they’ll always find me ahaha! Anyway annyeong, my name is Lee Donghae. Just call me Donghae or Fishy and you are?” he grins.

This boy sure talks a lot, Ryeowook huff.

“Kim Ryeowook and I know who you are. You and Lee Sungmin are cousins. I’m in the same class as him.”

“Oh cool! Sorry, I don’t remember him talking about you. He only said that there was this pretty girl in class who was so shy and didn’t’t have any friends. She would sometime cries and always sat alone and plays by herself and Sungmin also said she has a really nice voice too.”

Ryeowook blushed harder. “Do I really look like a girl?” Ryeowook thought. He will ask his omma to cut his hair later.

“RYEOWOOK DON’T MOVE. THERE IS SOMETHING ON YOUR HAIR.”

“WHAT IS IT?!!” Ryeowook start to panic.

“STAY STILL.”

Donghae slowly and carefully pulled a beetle from his hair and toss it far away. Ryeowook’s heart beat so fast that he hugged Donghae who was surprise by it. Donghae returned the hug and smiled. He’s starting to like his new friend already.

“DONGHAE THERE YOU ARE!. WHERE HAVE YO-....you been?”

They turned and saw Sungmin, Kyuhyun, Hyukjae, Yehsung and Shindong standing there smirking except for Sungmin who looked somewhat crossed.

“Oh I got lost and gave up finding you guys” Donghae replied scratching the back of his head. “Anyway look I made a new friend! Everyone meet Kim Ryeowook, he’s from class 4A. “

“Annyeonghasaeyo” Ryeowook smiled shyly and bowed.

“You’re a boy?!” Sungmin asked suddenly.

“Yes.” Ryeowook carefully avoid Sungmin’s eyes.

“Sorry I thought you were a girl...”Sungmin gawked at him before pulling out his hand and smiling. “Nice to meet you, I’m Sungmin” .

MR FLUFFY.

Anyone who knows Lee Sungmin knows that he is a very kind and very loyal person. Anyone who knows Lee Sungmin knows that Mr. Fluffy is his favourite toy and is off limits to everyone including Donghae (touch Mr Fluffy and you’re dead). Currently Ryeowook is busy snuggling Mr. Fluffy.

Oh dear.

Before Donghae and the rest could warn him or anything, Sungmin return from the kitchen to his room where the boys were currently relaxing.

Ryeowook is definitely dead meat.

Everyone silently prayed that there would be no bloodbath today, may God bless your kind soul Kim Ryeowook.

“Oh it seems you meet Mr. Fluffy already!” Sungmin’s eyes glinted.

“You mean this rabbit...it’s cute and all so snugly.....ah sorry. Here you can have Mr. Fluffy back”.

“Nah, you can hug him if you want. I don’t mind lending him to you” Sungmin’s voice was full of sincerity that one could feel touched by it.

Ryeowook is seriously one lucky bastard.

*FLASHBACK*

“Omma why do people kiss?” a 10 yr old Ryeowook asks his mother one day while watching a couple kiss on the television.

“Yeah why do people kiss omma?” Kibum asks curiously who was sitting beside him. Kibum’s been calling Ryeowook’s parents omma and appa ever since he was little. It felt as if it was the most natural thing to do.

“Em....aish you’re too young to know these things!“ his mother replied nervously.

“We’re not babies anymore. We’re not asking give an example for us since we’ve seen enough kisses from both appa and you...ugh!” Ryeowook shuddered.

“Yeah. We’re only asking for an explanation that’s all. Now, do you want to tell us or we can just ask Heechul ahjusshi about it.” Kibum knows that omma can’t refuse to go along with it.

“NO! I mean you don’t have to bother Heechul ahjusshi right?!”

Kibum smiled inwardly. Omma-0, Kiwook -1.

“Okay when two people love each other, they kiss to show that they’re happy with them. People kiss when they like a person, that’s it.”

“That‘s it?” Kibum and Ryeowook were hoping to hear more about it.

“Well what more do you want!. Excuse me I need to go to the bathroom” Omma hurriedly left and made her way up to the stairs. Somehow they had a feeling omma is definitely hiding out in the bedroom, afraid of more questioning from them.

“Well, that was informative.” Kibum replied sarcastically.

“At least it’s something.” Ryeowook interjected.

Both of them sighed. Ryeowook didn’t’t know how it happened but Kibum suddenly pressed his lips onto his and then retracted back looking for a reaction.

Ryeowook was clearly in shocked, “why did you do that Bummie?!”

“Do you like me?” Kibum ask.

“Yes.”

“Do I make you smile?”

“Yes.”

“Do I make you happy?”

“Yes.”

“Do you love me Wookie?”

“Yes....but why are you asking me all this?”

“Didn’t Omma say that when you love someone you kiss to show them you’re happy? I like you Wookie, you make me happy, you make me smile......“

Wookie face was turning red.

“...and I love you.”

Silence was taking place. Ryeowook’s heart was beating fast and felt somewhat different except he couldn’t explain what it was. His stomach felt light and airy.

Seeing no response from Ryeowook, Kibum began to feel guilty about it, “I’m sorry for kissing you without asking your permission.....I won’t do it again.”

“NO!...I mean I don’t mind it at all, I’m just surprised” Ryeowook felt hot all of a sudden, he didn’t know why.

Kibum took Ryeowook’s hand in his before speaking, “Then...can I kiss you again Wookie?”.

Their third kiss was more of an experiment after discovering that the lips are more sensitive than the human touch. They tested it and Ryeowook blushed a lot when it happened. More kisses came after learning from Heechul ahjusshi (without omma knowing) that a person can know someone’s feelings or how they tasted like just from a kiss. This piece of information had definitely put the boys on excitement especially Kibum.

They tried all kinds of flavours asking the other person to guess it or trying to figure out different kinds of emotion and such. It was definitely exhilarating. Ryeowook no longer blushed, instead he was giggling whenever Kibum tried to taste his lips.

“Wookie how am I suppose to know if you keep giggling. You’re making it difficult for me” Kibum groaned. “I’m sorry but it’s just funny when you look like you‘re concentrating. You look really cute Bummie” and for the first time Kibum was stunned after hearing Ryeowook’s confession.

“Okay okay, I’ll stop giggling” he leaned towards Kibum and pressed his lips softly against his. It sparked something inside Kibum, something he never felt before. Kibum slowly tasted him and after a few more licks, “Em...is it coke?”

“Yes!” Ryeowook grins widely. So far all of their experiments have been a success. He then ticked off the items from the list after they’ve tried it. “How many more are there?” Kibum ask him while resting his chin lazily on Ryeowook’s shoulder.

“12 more and we are done!”.

Come to think of it their kisses were truly one heck of an adventure, Ryeowook thought. He does wonder whether Kibum remembered all those great moments they shared. It’ll be their first meeting after 8 long years. They lost contact when Kibum was in the States only to receive a call yesterday night that he had arrived in Korea and is back for good. Right now, Ryeowook and his parents are at the front of the Kibum’s door step.

Ryeowook feels nervous and excited the same time. After pressing the doorbell for a few seconds the door opens. He is greeted by a tight hug and wet kisses by Kibum’s omma “Wookie, oh my goodness! Look how much you’ve grown! You still look the same except much more dashing!”

Ryeowook smiles shyly and gazes around, immediately streaming through the house looking for that person but he was nowhere in sight. As if Kibum’s omma read his thoughts she spoke

“Would you mind calling Kibummie for me Wookie? Go up the stairs, turn left and walk all the way to end of the hallway. The door on the left would be his room” she left with his omma and went to the living room leaving him standing alone.

“Phew okay, now turn left and walk all the way down the hallway and the left door would be his room” Ryeowook counted the doors hoping that it would ease his nervousness but it only makes his heart beat faster. He was sweating and his hand felt cold all of a sudden.

At last he reaches the destination and stands in front of the door. “Okay I can do this. Just open the door and said hi. You can do this.” He repeated the mantra over and over in his head and bravely opens the door.

The room is dim and the curtain closed. The place is tidy and neat. He found him lying on the bed asleep with headphones hanging around his neck. Music could be heard softly through the headphone. Ryeowook smiled. He went and sat at the bed and studied Kibum’s features. He still looks the same, with the boyish look, except his hair, Ryeowook thought.

Kibum’s features stood out under the dim orange light. Ryeowook thought of shaking him hard but it just wasn’t in his nature to do that, so instead he stroked his cheek gently. ”Bummie wake up,” he said softly. “Bummie, wake up.”

“Em....5 more minutes omma” Kibum murmurs softly, eyes shut making Ryeowook giggle. He waited for 5 minutes then stroked Kibum’s hair gently “Bummie, wake up. “

“Em...your hand feels soft omma” Kibum eyes remained shut.

”Who said I am omma?”

Immediately Kibum open his eyes and blink several times before breaking into a smile. “Wookie!”

He immediately sat up and tackled him into a tight hug. It’s their first physical contact after so many years apart.

“I missed you” Kibum whispered softly .

“I missed you too” Ryeowook mumbled against Kibum’s neck. He then took Ryeowook’s hand overlapping it, fingers intertwining.

“When did you arrive?”

“15 minutes ago. Omma sent me to call you down for dinner” Ryeowook smiled.

“Oh....I really thought you were omma. Your hands are cold Wookie” Kibum rubbied his hands against Ryeowook’s trying to bring some warmth back into them.

“We better get down for dinner, go and freshen up Bummie I’ll go and tell omma you’re already up. I’ll see you at the dining table” Ryeowook quickly replied and stood up.

After a few minutes had passed Ryeowook became impatient.

“Come on Bummie, I’m starving!” he pouted.

“Alright alright I’ll see you at the dining table then.....you look really cute when you pout” Kibum playfully pinched Ryeowook cheek and winked at him before exiting the room, leaving a startled Ryeowook.

All the feelings that had left long forgotten resurfaced like spilling water. Ryeowook felt his heart was about to pop out of his ribcage and his stomach felt like a butterfly cage. Ryeowook was in love with his best friend.

Kim Kibum had stolen his heart.

JEALOUSY

“Hey who is that guy with Ryeowook? I’ve never seen him before.” Shindong asked as Kyuhyun, Sungmin, Yehsung and Hyukjae loitered at the lockers waiting for the bell to ring, signalling for the first lesson of the day.

From the looks of it, Ryeowook seemed to be very comfortable with that guy and they were laughing together. “Ryeowook!” Sungmin shouted, catching Ryeowook’s attention causing him to smile, waving at Sungmin. They then proceeded to the head office with his new friend.

“Oh what did I miss guys?” Donghae asked as he had gone to the washroom earlier on. “Oh there’s a new guy in school and he’s in the head office with Ryeowook. Personally I think Ryeowook must know him” Kyuhyun said.

The bell rang. “See you guys at the cafeteria then” Kyuhyun wave. “Yeah see you later Sungmin.” Donghae and Shindong left for their class. “I’d better be off now, come on Yehsung.” With that Hyukjae and Yehsung left for classes.

Sungmin huffed and went to his classroom alone. Usually, he and Ryeowook would go everywhere together. Somehow he has a feeling that with the new guy present, everything was going to change. He hoped that he would be proven wrong.

“Take out your history book and turn to page 15. Yoojin, please read paragraph one, verse 3.”

The girl Yoojin read about halfway through when the door suddenly opened. “Sorry Mrs Lee, I was busy helping a new student” Ryeowook bowed.

“Never mind take your seat. Take out your history book and turn to page 15” she said lazily.

Ryeowook quickly sat and took out his book. Sungmin could see that Ryeowook was all smiles and wondered if it had anything to do with the new guy. After quite some time the class door opened once more. “I’m sorry but Mr. Choi asked me to give you this” Handing a piece of paper to Mrs. Lee he waited for her response. “It’s the same guy who walked with Ryeowook earlier” Sungmin said quietly to himself.

“Oh okay. Class please welcome your new classmate. Why don’t you introduce yourself?” Mrs. Lee smiled.

‘Annyeonghasaeyo. My name is Kim Kibum and I hope to be friends with you. Hope we can have an enjoyable time with each other.” He smiled making the girls giggle.

“Well you can go have a seat beside Chris. Chris raise your hand so Kibum knows where you are.” Luckily for Kibum, his desk happened to be placed side by side and one desk behind Ryeowook‘s.

Sungmin sighed. Too bad his desk is so far away from them. He’s sitting way in the back near the window. Sungmin gave up paying attention and focused on Kibum.

As Kibum settled down in his desk and took out his book, Ryeowook glanced at him and smiled. Sungmin could see that Ryeowook was mouthing some words silently to Kibum as he grinned. After that Ryeowook looked back to the front and focused on the writing on the board. He seems so cheerful.

“Who exactly are you Kim Kibum?” Sungmin said softly.
